FRESH CATCH, DIRECTLY FROM THE SEA

Established in 1999 as the first marine fish breeding facility in Montenegro, our farm is located in the cleanest water area in the Bay of Kotor, where the river Ljuta flows into the sea. We breed sea bass and sea bream, as well as mussels and oysters.

We support a responsible approach to marine breeding through a selection of the highest quality fish food by renowned international manufacturers, as well as through responsible and natural farming practices.

In accordance with standards prescribed by the HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points), an internationally recognized method of identifying and managing food safety, sea bass and sea bream are bred for two years until they reach consumption size. Fish growth and development are monitored and recorded, and, following a detailed examination, the products become ready for safe consumption.

With a refreshing meaty texture, a clean taste and a delicate flavour, the sea bream is a good choice for cooking fillets or as a whole fish. In addition, the sea bream is a healthy option, being low in calories and rich in B vitamins.

MUSSELS

Mussels are cultivated in freshwater and seawater habitats around the world. They can be eaten raw, cooked, or fried, and prepared in numerous ways, including in a white or red wine sauce, baked mussels, mussel risotto, and seafood soup. Although available all year round, the best time to enjoy mussels is between June and October when they are juiciest and most meaty.
